Innovation at The Weir Group

The Weir Group PLC is one of the UK's most vibrant manufacturing businesses, playing a globally leading role in its various markets, such as Oil & Gas, Mining and Power. The group has long identified innovation as a source of key competitive advantage (see, for example, the Weir Group website), and Silver Bullet is proud of working with the Group over many years - indeed, internally within the Group, their process for idea generation is known as the Silver Bullet process, as used to great effect at a recent Group Conference (click through to pages 12-13) held in Dubai. And on 29th June 2012, Chief Executive Keith Cochrane authored a column on the importance of innovation in the UK newspaper The Independent.
