Creativity
@home
Much of the scientific and engineering research that takes place in universities throughout the UK is funded by a government agency, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. To stimulate creativity in research teams, and also as part of the development of doctoral students, grants are available for the Creativity@home programme, for which Silver Bullet has been an approved preferred supplier since the programme's inception in 2009. Since then, we have run very many successful assignments with teams from many universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews, University College London, Imperial College London, King's College London, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, Strathclyde and Sheffield.
We take great care to tailor our programmes to the needs and requirements of each team we work with - academic scientists and engineers are of course inherently creative, and so it is vital to ensure that the programme content is neither trivial nor patronising, but is truly helpful and appreciated. Accordingly, our preference is to discuss what those requirements might be before presenting a proposal: that ensures that the proposal is well-thought-through, rather than just a guess, or something-off-the-shelf.

If you are considering a Creativity@home project, do contact us by email at dennis@silverbulletmachine.com or by telephone on 01572-813690 for an initial conversation; most importantly, though, please do talk to some of the academic researchers with whom we have worked - they will tell you the truth!
